gjots2 software package provides Simple jotter (outline processor) for X11/gtk-gnome, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gjots2
gjots2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gjots2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gjots2 *
You will get with gjots2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
